Boy Scouts
Trinity Lutheran Church has been the “Sponsoring Organization” for Boy Scout Troop 140 for well over 50 years. We have had among the highest numbers of Scouts achieving the Rank of Eagle Scout in Bergen County. As is true for all youth involved with Scouting, they have learned the “golden tenants” of Scouting, as expressed in the words of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
We have a steady flow of outdoor activities within the New York and New Jersey area: Breakneck Ridge and Palisades Interstate Park hiking, Harriman State Park camping, canoeing in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey and even several bike/camping trips on the C+O Canal National Historic Park in Maryland.
We welcome new members to our Troop, with the expectation that all youth involved in Scouting will benefit enormously from their experiences with us. Our meetings take place at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday evenings from 7:30-9:00 pm on days when the Tenafly Public Schools are in session.
